What started as a bit of fun at our original Ren Faire of Bandera County, the Black Pirate Market Thanksgiving weekend, became a new annual tradition of Pirates and puppies! We ask our vendors to bring forth their best deals for holiday gift giving and add to the fun with pirate costumes of any era, style, and finesse worthy of a pirate.
2022 saw the addition of a fund raising opportunity to help one of our programs in their effort to place perspective candidates as Service or Working Dogs. To that end, we invented the Pirate Puppy Party. Admission is always FREE as we depend on our sponsors and volunteers to keep the cost of our event low and affordable to all.
This event will have photo backdrops, as they become available through a generous donation by area businesses to take photos of pets and well-behaved humans. Vending fees start at $50 for generously sized spaces of 12' x 12'. Vending is open to everyone with preference being given to those who are selling pet related merchandise or are return vendors. There is no electricity at vending spaces. Vendors need to bring their own canopy, tables, and chairs. Dressing up in costume is preferred and will get high visibility locations. Hit up those post Halloween Costume Sales for discounted costumes, or your favorite resale shop to piece together a one of a kind pirate costume from any era or genre.

We love to take care of our volunteers! We have several volunteering opportunities and we are receptive to any activity ideas volunteers come to us with! Including on how to fund-raise for their charity of choice.

All volunteers have access to bottled water and flavored mix-ins along with $20 in Food Vouchers from select food vendors.
We support the communities we live in and gladly offer a FREE vending space to any nonprofit wishing to fundraise. Games and Activities encouraged!
